ABOUT THE CITY
The Ranthambore National Park is located near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, India. The vast area of around 500 sq. k.m is dotted with ruins of old lodges, forts and palaces. It is one of the foremost National Park in the country, in its efforts for tiger conservation in India. The tiger reigns, but a wide variety of animals like leopards, hyenas, sambhars, blue bulls, chinkaras, wild boars etc have also made the National Park their refuge.

The RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK has a wide variety of animals, but the tiger makes it the most favoured national park of the wild life enthusiasts.

The RANTHAMBORE FORT offers a splendid scenic view and the ruins spread out in the vast area of the national park has beautiful and shady areas to spot the animals at a close range.

ALWAR- the tiger gate of Rajasthan, SARISKA- a wild life sanctuary, and JAIPUR are accessible from Ranthambore.
