WAZWAN is Kashmir’s most formal and elaborate meal,is more
like a ritual. The course includes Tabakmaaz, Roganjosh, Rishta,
Gushtaba and Phirni. KAHWAH,the green tea flavoured with spices
and almonds, is also a specialty of this area.
Kashmiri hamdicrafts like- silk & woollen carpets, papier mache
products,Pashmina and embroidered shawls, walnut products – are
famous the world over.

houseboats and shikaras on the DAL & the NAGIN lakes give a glimpse
of the waterways with their unique lifestyle. SRINAGAR abounds in
water front gardens laid with great care and love,collectively called
MUGHAL GARDENS, of which the SHALIMAR and NISHAAT are exquisitely
laid out. CHASHME-SHAHI, PARI MAHAL and SHANKARCHARYA TEMPLE are
the other places to be visited.
